ScoreVision Welcomes New Hires This Winter

Published Dec 22, 2016, 04:22 am

Wow, is ScoreVision headquarters growing! Last month, we added 6 new fabulous team members and couldn't be more excited! Brei Wagner, Amelia McCumbers, Jon Meier and Brett Jensen joined the business development team, and Nic Novotny and Ben Kautz joined the support team. Let’s meet them, what do you say?

JON MEIER, REGIONAL TERRITORY MANAGER

Tell us a little something about yourself:

I've been married to my beautiful wife Jenny for 17 years. We have 4 boys: Jackson (16), Carson (14), Hudson (12), and Tyson (10). All are super active in Football, Basketball, and Baseball.

What lesson from childhood do you still live by today?

Be good to people.

Favorite App:

ESPN

Favorite ScoreVision experience so far:

Meeting the ScoreVision team! All are really great people who are building such an amazing culture. It's also pretty exciting to introduce such cutting edge technology to all my schools. It's a game-changer.

BRETT (STRETCH) JENSEN, REGIONAL TERRITORY MANAGER

Tell us a little something about yourself:

Originally born and raised in rural Iowa, I am the youngest of 3 children. After graduating from UNL, I was a 14th round draft choice with the Detroit Tigers in 2006 and spent 4 years in their farm system. After "retiring" from baseball, I moved to Denver, CO and lived there for 4 hours before feeling the pull to migrate back to the Midwest.

What lesson from childhood do you still live by today?

Play hard, have fun, and do your best!

Favorite App:

The Ringer

Favorite ScoreVision experience so far:

Interacting with AD's and seeing their excitement when they realize all the potential we offer for their athletic department and entire school. The team here has also been incredibly welcoming thus far.

AMELIA (AMOS) MCCUMBERS, REGIONAL TERRITORY MANAGER

Tell us a little something about yourself:

I am a wife of one handsome man, Mike, and a mother of three beautiful children, Natalie (12), Noah (11), and Nash (9). We are a huge soccer family and all 3 kids play, so most of our time is spent on the soccer field. I am super creative, but never have the time to express it. I hate laundry, dishes, and cutting the grass...but somehow always end up doing the first two. I'm very goal orientated and set high ones for myself, but don't freak when I'm unable to meet them (cause let's face it...life can happen), but i'll keep trying until I do.

What lesson from childhood do you still live by today?

No matter how stressed you are, no matter how much is going on, always let your family know how much you love them.

Favorite App:

Favorite ScoreVision experience so far:

Seeing the boards up and running for the first time at Westside High School.

NIC NOVOTNY, ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER

Tell us a little something about yourself:

My wife Alyssa and I have two wild, crazy and loving children, Graham (2) and Avery (5). No dogs yet, but it's being currently discussed (conclusion...one potty training project at a time). I love watching and playing a variety of sports, and enjoy playing guitar, piano, and drums. I enjoy taking on home renovation projects as well as designing and building rustic, industrial, and modern accent pieces and furniture (check out Revive Innovations).

What lesson from childhood do you still live by today?

Stand for something or you will fall for anything.

Favorite App:

Favorite ScoreVision experience so far:

On my first day, I was lucky enough to take a road trip to St. Joe, MO for a site survey at Benton High School. Their excitement and eagerness for the new ScoreVision system made me feel honored to be apart of the team and even more eager to watch their excitement the first time we turned on the boards!

BEN (JAMMIN) KAUTZ, TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Tell us a little something about yourself:

I have a pretty solid sense of humor.

What lesson from childhood do you still live by today?

Wear your seat belt.
